FREE CHECKING (Share Drafts)

A checking account at SGV Postal Credit Union has no minimum balance requirements, no fees, and unlimited check writing. Most financial institutions impose a monthly service charge, a per-check charge, or a minimum balance to waive fees. Not so at your Credit Union, where your draft account also offers ATM access, direct deposit, and payroll deduction. Record keeping is easy because your drafts make automatic copies as you write them. If you’re not checking with us, chances are you’re paying a bundle in service fees each year.

Who May Apply for Share Drafts?

Any Credit Union member who maintains a regular share savings balance of $50 or more may open a Credit Union share draft account. (Four items returned due to non-sufficient funds within one 90-day period may result in automatic closure of the account.)
